My Favorite Things Right Now
Some gifted, some bought, all in heavy rotation.
Between tariffs, inflation, and a tighter budget, I’m only spending on what I really need. And if I do treat myself, it has to either make my day-to-day easier or be something I can wear and rewear a hundred different ways.
That said, I’m lucky to be gifted products often enough to try what’s new and trending—so I’m constantly curating mini roundups for my friends and family.
Here are six things I’ve been sharing in group chats and recommending IRL.
Gifted items are starred and I may earn a small commission if you purchase anything. The link to the items mentioned below can be found here.
Intimissmi Silk Tank Tops
Odds are you’ve seen lace-trim camisoles and slips all over your feed lately—especially after The Row sent everyone scrambling to recreate their layered look. The Zara dupe sold out instantly, and I caught myself wondering: Does a lace camisole even fit into my current wardrobe—or is this just a 48-hour The Row fever dream?
I actually wear my vintage silk camisoles a lot—with skirts, jeans, trousers, even leggings when I travel. So I reasoned that a white lace-trim cami could be a good addition—something to break up my mostly all-black outfits. I pictured it layered under a trench, a vintage silk jacket, an oversized charcoal sweater—all staples in my rotation.
I searched eBay and Etsy for secondhand options, but even with my short torso, it was tough to find one long enough to peek out underneath and trimmed with lace at the hem. I finally found my match at Intimissimi: lace at the hem and neckline, the perfect ivory shade, and 100% silk—ideal for summer. I loved it so much I went back for the black with cream trim too.
Quince Water Repellent Windbreaker Jacket
Tech jackets are everywhere right now. So when I considered buying into yet another The Row-inspired trend, I had to pause—not just to check if I was being influenced, but to sift through the sea of dupes flooding my feed.
As a CT-to-NYC commuter, I’ve often wished for a lightweight, hooded layer—especially when I get caught in surprise rain. I needed something packable, so if I got hot or overstimulated, I could toss it in my work bag without the added bulk.
Uniqlo’s version sold out fast, but I knew I wanted something similar: light, high-necked, with drawstrings to cinch over a lace camisole or slip dress. I ended up choosing Quince’s windbreaker. It’s packable, has a collapsible hood, and most importantly—it’s actually comfortable.
Vince Crop Flare Pants
I’ve recently started dressing more intentionally for my body type. With a short torso and long legs, low-rise pants have become a trusted friend in my wardrobe. I fell in love with The Row Jago Pants—but not with the price tag.
Enter: the Vince Crop Flare Pants. They have a nearly identical silhouette, a flattering (but not extreme) low rise, and a front seam that makes them perfect for my wrinkle-release-and-go lifestyle. As you can see, they also make the perfect “going-out” pant.
Hourglass Tinted Moisturizer*
I was kindly gifted this twice—and honestly, I would’ve bought a second tube myself if the backup hadn’t arrived just as the first ran out.
I’m an SNRI girlie, which means one of my summer side effects is… sweat. A full face of my usual makeup becomes a sensory nightmare—and streaky foundation? Absolutely not.
This tinted moisturizer feels light but still gives solid coverage. Paired with Milk’s Matte Primer, it held up (along with my blush!) on an 85-degree day—and didn’t make me want to wipe my face off by noon.
Clarin’s Double Serum*
I received this as a PR gift, and if the goal was to get me (and my skin) hooked—it worked. It’s now part of both my nightly routine and my pre-photoshoot prep. After three weeks, my skin looks noticeably glowier.
Maude Vibrator*
This is the most hyped item in my group chats and friend circles. I first got it in a gift bag after discovering the brand at a pop-up—and let’s just say, it changed things.
Anyone who knows me knows that sex-positivity is something I’ve worked hard to embrace over the past five years, and for me, it really started with self-pleasure. I credit this device for my Monday-morning glow, for getting me through breakups, dry spells, and dates that were better left unmatched.
Think Charlotte in that Sex and the City episode where she ditches the world for her rabbit. Be warned: this one might turn you into a very satisfied shut-in.
